    Cricket Betting Terminology

    1. Bookmaker – An organization or individual who accepts bets and pays out winnings.

    2. Odds – The probability of a particular event occurring, usually expressed as a ratio or fraction. In cricket betting, odds are used to determine the potential payout for a particular bet.

    3. Value – Getting the best possible odds on a bet.

    4. Stake/Wager – The amount of money you are willing to bet.

    5. Outright bet – A bet on the outcome of a tournament or series.

    6. In-play betting – Placing bets during a live match.

    7. Hedging/Cover Bet – Placing wagers on the opposite side. Usually done to safeguard the bet and to cut losses in case the original bet is lost.

    8. Back Bet – This is simply when you bet or wager on a particular outcome.

    9. Lay bet – A bet against a particular outcome, i.e. betting that a team will lose instead of win.

    10. Exchange – A platform where users can bet against each other, rather than against a bookmaker.

    11. Neutral Venue – A neutral venue is a cricket stadium where neither team has a home advantage. Neutral venues are often used for international cricket matches.

    12. Match fixing – Match fixing is the illegal practice of manipulating the outcome of a cricket match to benefit betting interests.

    13. Underdog – The team which is expected to lose the match

    14. Line – The line is the point spread or handicap that is set by the bookmaker for a cricket match.

    15. Parlay – A Parlay is a bet that combines multiple selections into a single wager. The odds for each selection are multiplied together to determine the potential payout.

    16. T20 – T20 is a format of cricket where each team plays for 20 overs, making it a fast-paced and high-scoring game.

    17. ODI – One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours.

    18. Test Match – A test match is a format of cricket that is played over five days, with each team playing two innings. Test matches are considered the most prestigious and traditional format of cricket

    19. Super Over – A super over is a tie-breaking method used in limited-overs cricket matches that are tied at the end of the match.

    20. Toss – A bet on which team will win the coin toss at the beginning of the match.

    21. Inning Runs – Inning runs are the total number of runs scored by a team in a single inning of a cricket match

    22. Top batsman/bowler – A bet on which player will score the most runs or take the most wickets in a match or tournament.

    23. Fours/Sixes – A four is a boundary in cricket where the ball crosses the boundary after bouncing on the ground, while a six is a boundary where the ball crosses the boundary without bouncing on the ground

    24. Wicket – A wicket refers to three stumps and two bails that are placed at each end of the cricket pitch. The objective of the bowler is to hit the wicket and dismiss the batsman.

    25. Run Out – Run out is a method of dismissal in cricket where a fielder dislodges the bails at the batting end of the pitch while the batsman is attempting to run.

    26. Duck – A duck is a term used in cricket to describe a batsman who is out without scoring any runs.

    27. Extras – Extras are runs that are scored in a cricket match that are not attributed to any particular batsman. They can be due to penalty runs, such as a no-ball, or byes and leg-byes.

    28. Wides – A wide is a delivery in cricket that is bowled outside the batsman’s reach, and the umpire deems it too wide for the batsman to play a shot at it.

    29. Run Range – the number of runs scored by a team in a match falling within a particular range. For example, a bookmaker might set a run range of 200-220 for a team.

    30. Supremacy Spread – a type of cricket betting where a bookmaker predicts how dominant one team will be over another. The bookmaker sets a spread, and punters can bet on whether the team will perform better or worse than the spread.

    31. Maiden over – an over in which no runs are scored that count against the bowler

    32. Hat-trick – occurs when a bowler takes three wickets with consecutive deliveries.

    33. LBW (Leg Before Wicket) – LBW is a mode of dismissal in cricket where the ball hits the batsman’s leg before hitting the bat, and the umpire rules the batsman out.

    34. Match bet – A bet on the outcome of a single cricket match.

    35. Spread/Handicap bet – A bet that gives one team a virtual point advantage or disadvantage to even out the odds.

    36. Over/Under bet – A bet on whether the combined total of the points/goals/runs scored by the two teams will be more or less than a specified number by the betting provider.

    37. Top Match Batsman – The winning bet in this market is the batsman with the most runs in a match. Both teams’ batsmen are taken into consideration.

    38. Top Team Batsman – The winning bet in this market is the batsman with the most runs in a match, but only one of the teams is taken into consideration.

    39. Top Team Bowler – The bowler with the most wickets taken for his team is the top team bowler. If there are two or more bowlers with the same number of wickets taken then the winner is the one with the least number of runs conceded.

    40. Wicket Method – In which way will the specified Wicket be taken. The 6 options are Caught, Bowled, LBW (Leg Before Wicket), Run Out, Stumped and Others.

    41. Dismissal Method – In which way will l the specified Dismissal be taken. The 6 options are Caught, Bowled, leg before wicket, run out, and stumped and Others. The most common of these is Caught followed by Bowled and LBW.

    42. Series Score – Betting on the correct score of Test Series matches. For example after the 2nd game of the series you can bet on six possible outcomes: 1-0, 2-0, 0-1, 0-2, 0-0, 1-1.

    43. Team to Make Highest 1st 6 Overs – The team which scores the highest total of runs over the course of the first 6 overs wins the bet.

    44. Most Run-Outs – The team which creates the most run-outs whilst fielding is the winner in this market. If both teams create the same number of run-outs whilst fielding the winning bet is X.

    45. Man of the Match – The individual who produces the best performance in a cricket match is voted as the Man of the Match.

    46. Cash out – The ability to close a bet early and receive a payout before the match has finished.

    47. Dead Heat – A situation in which there are two or more winners in a betting event., resulting in a split of the payout.For example, if there are two batsmen with the same number of runs, dead heat rules apply and the bet is worth half the original stake.

    48. All-Rounder – A player that can both bat and bowl. Legendary examples of all-rounders include England’s Andrew Flintoff and Ian Botham, West Indies’ Gary Sobers and, perhaps the greatest of them all, South Africa’s Jacques Kallis.

  • Promotion General Terms & Conditions

    1. Accumulated Bet amount is calculated by the effective turnover* you bet during the promotion period.

    2. Bet odds ≥ 1.80, the effective turnover equals to the bet amount(stake);Bet odds < 1.80, the effective turnover equals to the winning and losing amount

    3. Draw, Voided, Rejected, Cashed out and Refunded bets will not count towards effective turnover calculation.

    4. Accumulated Bet amount will be accumulated at the settlement of each bet.

    5. Effective turnover of a stake will not count towards two mission promotion at the same time.

    6. In the event of withdrawal prior to the completion of the effective turnover requirement, we have the right to decline the withdrawal request if the requirement is not satisfied.

    7. The bonus accumulation is determined in the order of claim time. Only after the current bonus is fully accumulated will the switch to the next bonus occur. For example, if you claim Welcome LuckyCash 50 first and then claim AsiaCup 1st Bet 200, when a customer places a bet on AsiaCup, the Welcome LuckyCash 50 will be accumulated first.

    8. In the event of cancellation/removal of the bonus prior to the completion of the turnover requirement, the bonus amount and its derived winnings will be forfeited.

    9. You may be requested by Lucky Sports to provide identification information upon our notification. If you do not provide the requested information, you agree to give up your rights to any bonuses.

    1-1 Matches not played as listed In situations where the event is played at a venue different to that listed, all bets on the event will stand provided the match is not switched to the opponent’s ground and home and away team for a listed match are not reversed, in which Lucky Sports reserves the right to void betting.

    1-2 In the event of a change of opponent from the one listed, all bets for that match are void.

    1-3 If a team field their reserve team or an underage team instead of their first team, Lucky Sports reserves the right to void betting.

    1-4 If the rules or format of a match differ from our accepted norm, Lucky Sports reserves the right to void betting.

    1-5 If coverage must be abandoned and the match finishes regularly, all markets will be settled according to the final result. If the outcome of a market cannot be verified officially, we reserve the right to void them.

    1-6 In the case of an incorrect settlement of markets, we reserve the right to correct them anytime.

    1-7 If a match does not adhere to the generally accepted format (e.g., unusual period length, counting procedure, format of a match etc.); we reserve the right to void any market.

    1-8 If the rules or format of a match differ from our accepted norm, we reserve the right to void any market.

    1-9 The minimum and maximum size of bets on all sporting events is set by Lucky Sports and may be changed without prior written notice.

    1-10 Any bet (including a Live bet) placed on an event, the result of which is already known at the moment of betting, we reserve the right to void any market.

    1-11 Changes to Lines (coefficient of winnings, values of handicaps and totals, limits on express bets, maximum bet amount, etc.) can be made by Lucky Sports at any time.

    1-12 If a match is not completed or not played (e.g. through disqualification, interruption, withdrawal, changes in draws etc.), all undecided markets are considered void.

    1-13 All pre-match bets that were made after the game has started, Lucky Sports reserves the right to void betting.

    1-14 Lucky Sports makes every effort to ensure all information provided is accurate. However, the company cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the information provided. Errors in information regarding an event are not grounds for cancelling a bet. Exceptions include when incorrect odds have been provided by mistake (i.e. obvious typos in the odds or a discrepancy between the odds and/or the real event score).

    1-15 Connection failure or other technical faults in the Player’s communications shall not be a reason to cancel a bet if the bet has been registered on the server.

    1-16 The player bears sole responsibility for his/her bets. The player is obliged to ensure that the details of his/her bet are correct. As soon as a bet has been made and its acceptance has been confirmed, it cannot be changed or canceled by the Player. After a bet is accepted, it cannot be amended.

    1-17 Lucky Sports has the right to not accept bets from Players without giving a reason, as well as to not accept bets from those who have violated the Rules, and Lucky Sports retains the right to close or temporarily block the accounts of individual Clients without prior notice.

    1-18 Users are prohibited from placing several identical bets on the same match in order to bypass limits. Such actions will be regarded as a major violation of rules and may lead to additional limits, betting caps, and may result in account blocking.

    1-19 All match markets DO NOT include overtime unless otherwise stated.

    1-20 Lucky Sports reserves the right to change the odds-on offer at any time as well as suspend or close betting on events before the scheduled start time.

    1-21 In the case of any obviously incorrectly displayed or calculated prices, we reserve the right to void betting. This includes a deviation of more than 100% in the pay-out compared to the market average.

    1-22 Lucky Sports reserves the right to suspend odds during an event due to failed transmission or other technical related issues or if fraud is suspected.

    1-23 Lucky Sports reserves the right to void bets even subsequently if any such bet was won by the customer because of a technical fault or error, inclusive of but not limited to an error or fault in transmission.

    1-24 If the outcome of a market cannot be verified officially, we reserve the right to delay the settlement until official confirmation.

    1-25 If markets were offered when the outcome was already known, we reserve the right to void any betting.

    1-26 In the case of any obviously incorrectly displayed or calculated market, we reserve the right to void betting. This includes a deviation of more than 100% in the pay-out compared to the market average.

    1-27 If a player or team is disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct (cheating/fraud/match-fixing/use of cheats/no-show during match), we reserve the right to void any betting.

    1-28 If there is reason to believe that unsportsmanlike conduct (cheating/fraud/match-fixing/use of cheats/no-show during match) has occurred in a game, we reserve the right to void any betting for a period of ten days after the end of a match.

    1-29 If certain outcomes are considered “correlated“, those bets cannot be parlayed, we reserve the right to void betting.

    1-30 If a match is interrupted or postponed and is not continued within 48h , except for baseball ,all undecided bets are considered void.

    1-31 For live betting, during a game, with respect to actions which the Company in its sole and absolute discretion, deems as dangerous where the score, outcome, performance of one team or player may be affected; or warrant changing the odds/prices or Markets or Betting Information (‘Danger Play’) the Company reserves the right to suspend acceptance of bets and may accept or void bets after the Danger Play. All other actions in a game are deemed Safe Play and bets will continue to be considered for acceptance.

    1-32 Players using VPN and login from different IP frequently may result to void bets. And on the basis of different IP from multiple city we can suspend the account and void bets.

    1-33 Definitions of Bet Tickets Status

    • Running: Bets placed on pre-match and in-play match that are accepted will be under “Running” status.
    • Void: Bets placed which were erroneously accepted due to factors as set out in the betting rules for a specific event will be considered under ”Void” Status. Running bets may be voided on pre-match, in-play match and even after a match is ended. Stakes of bets under “Void” status will be returned.
    • Refund: Accepted bets will be considered under ”Refund” status if the match or matches are cancelled, postponed, interrupted or delayed. Stakes of bets under “Refund” status will be returned.
    • Abnormal Bet: An Accepted bet which is considered as ”Abnormal Bet” will be voided. The Company reserves the right to determine what bets are “Abnormal Bet”. Abnormal Bet shall be considered as void regardless of the outcome on pre-match, in-play match and even after a match is ended.

    1-34 Exchange Rules and RegulationsSuper’, ‘Master’, and ‘Sub’ account holders must read and accept the following ‘Terms and Conditions’ to use Exchange.

    • No ‘Passing of funds’ or ‘Self Matching’ allowed. Users caught doing so will be locked and funds reversed. Company may void bets of this nature within 1 week of placement.
    • Any self matching ( punching ) bets on non favorite teams when liquidity is low will be voided even if the player account is in minus for the event , the upline will be responsible for the same.
    • If account was locked for ‘Passing of funds’ in last 72 hours, company can void any related bet regardless of when it was placed.
    • No Arguments or claim in the above context will be entertained by company and the decision made by company will stand as final.

    2. General Market Rules

    2-1 Moneyline(Winner) means betting on one competitor or team to defeat another in an Event or to be placed higher in an Event match-up.

    2-2 Handicap means betting when one competitor or team receives a virtual head start (effectively leading by that head start before the Event begins). The winner is the competitor or team with the better score after adding the given handicap to the result.

    2-3 1st Half Handicap means betting on the team with the better score after adding the given handicap to the result of the first half of an Event.

    2-4 2nd Half Handicap means betting on the team with the better score after adding the given handicap to the result of the second half of an Event.

    2-5 Over/Under means betting that is determined by the total number of points (goals, games etc) in the final result of an Event. If the total is more than the Over/Under pre-designated line then the winning result is Over; if the total is less than the Over/Under pre-designated line then the winning result is Under.

    2-6 1st Half Over/Under means betting that is determined by the total number of points in the result of the first half of an Event. If the total is more than the Over/Under pre- designated line then the winning result is Over; if the total is less than the Over/Under pre- designated line then the winning result is Under.

    2-7 2nd Half Over/Under means betting that is determined by the total number of points in the result of the second half of an Event. If the total is more than the Over/Under pre-designated line then the winning result is Over; if the total is less than the Over/Under pre-designated line then the winning result is Under.

    2-8 1X2 means betting in any one of three possible winning outcomes for an Event. 1 refers to the team that is named first (usually the home team); X refers to the game resulting in a draw or tie; 2 refers to the team that is named second (usually the away team).

    2-9 1st Half 1X2 means betting in any one of three possible winning outcomes of the first half for an Event. 1 refers to the team that is named first (usually the home team); X refers to the game resulting in a draw or tie; 2 refers to the team that is named second (usually the away team).

    2-10 2nd Half 1X2 means betting in any one of three possible winning outcomes counting only the second half for an Event. 1 refers to the team that is named first (usually the home team); X refers to the game resulting in a draw or tie; 2 refers to the team that is named second (usually the away team).

    2-11 First 15 Minutes 1X2 means betting to predict the three possible outcomes of the first 15 minutes in the regular time of a match. Bets will be void if the match is abandoned unless settlement of bets is already determined.

    2-12 Correct Score means betting to predict the final score at the end of full-time.

    2-13 Draw no Bet means betting to predict a Home or Away win in a match. If the final result at the end of regular time is a Draw, all bets will be refunded.

    3. Specific Event Betting Rules

    3-1 Cricket

    3-1-1 All markets do not consider super overs unless otherwise mentioned.

    3-1-2 5-run penalties are not considered in any over or delivery market (markets for multiple overs are not considered for this rule).

    3-1-3 In limited overs matches, bets will be void if it has not been possible to complete at least 80% of the overs scheduled to be bowled in either innings due to external factors, including bad weather unless settlement of the bet has already been determined before the reduction.

    3-1-4 If a match is cancelled before any play has taken place, then all markets are considered void unless the match is replayed within 48 hours of its initial starting time.

    3-1-5 If the match is tied and the official competition rules do not determine a winner; or if the competition rules determine the winner by a coin toss or drawing of lots, then all undecided markets are considered void.

    3-1-6 In the event of an over not being completed, all undecided markets on this specific over are considered void unless the innings has reached its natural conclusion e.g. declaration, team all out, etc.

    3-1-7 If markets remain open with an incorrect score which has a significant impact on the prices, we reserve the right to void betting.

    3-1-8 Match Winner refer to the team who win the match. However, if the result is determined by a Super Over, Bowl Out, Coin Toss etc. then all bets on match winner markets will be refunded. If the official result is a Tie then Match Winner bets will be settled as dead heat .

    3-1-9 Match Winner 1X2 – Test Match and First Class matches may be offered in a 1X2 format. “1” refers to the first named team; “X” refers to the “Draw”; “2” refers to the second named team. If the official result is a “Tie” (as distinct from a “Draw”) then all bets will be refunded.

    3-1-10 Draw No Bet refer to the team who win the match and if the match is a draw all bets will be void.

    3-1-11 Toss Winner refer to the team who win the Toss. If no toss takes place, all bets will be void.

    3-1-12 Super Over Winner markets refer to the winner of a match that is decided by a Super Over or Super Overs.

    3-1-13 Runs in First Over refer to the total number of runs scored in the first over of the match

    3-1-14 Over Total Runs markets refer to the number of runs scored by a team in a specific over.

    3-1-15 Score at End of Over markets refer to the total number of runs scored by a team at the end of a specific over.

    3-1-16 Match Fours refers to the number of Fours scored in a match. Only boundary Fours scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-17 Match Sixes refers to the number of Sixes scored in a match. Only boundary Sixes scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-18 Match Ducks refers to the number of Ducks scored in a match.

    3-1-19 Match Extras refers to the number of Extras scored in a match.

    3-1-20 Match Wickets refers to the number of Wickets fall in a match.

    3-1-21 Match Wides refers to the number of Wides scored in a match.

    3-1-22 Innings Runs markets refer to the number of runs scored by a team in a match or particular innings. Penalty runs(for slow over rates etc)that are retrospectively added to a team’s total after an innings is completed will not be included.

    3-1-23 Innings Fours refers to the number of Fours scored by a team in a specific innings. Only boundary Fours scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-24 Innings Sixes refers to the number of Sixes scored by a team in a specific innings. Only boundary Sixes scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-25 Innings Extras refers to the number of Extras scored in a specific innings.

    3-1-26 Most Sixes refers to which team will score the most sixes in the match. Only boundary Sixes scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-27 Most Fours refers to which team will score the most fours in a match. Only boundary Fours scored off the bat count, overthrows and extras do not.

    3-1-28 Method of Dismissal markets refer to the method of dismissal of a specific player or wicket.

    3-1-29 Score after Ball markets refer to the number of runs scored by a team once a specific ball has been legally bowled and completed.

    3-1-30 Ball Runs markets refer to the number of runs scored by a team from a specific ball, that has been legally bowled and completed. If the ball is not legally bowled and completed then bets will be void.

    3-1-31 Fall of Wicket refers to the number of runs scored at the fall of a specific wicket. If a batsman retires and is replaced by a different player then the market will still be settled on the score at the fall of that wicket.

    3-1-32 Batsman Runs refers to the number of runs scored by a batsman in a specific innings. A batsman must be at the crease when at least ball is bowled for bets to be considered valid.

    3-1-33 Top Batsman refers to which batsman will score the most runs in a match or specific innings.

    3-1-34 Top Bowler refers to which bowler will take the most wickets in a match or specific innings.

    3-1-35 Player Runs refers to the number of runs scored by a player in a specific innings. Bets are valid regardless of whether the player is at the crease when a ball is bowled.

    3-1-36 Player Milestones markets refers to the number of runs scored by a player in a specific innings.

    3-1-37 Player Boundaries refers to the number of boundary Fours & Sixes scored by a player in a specific innings.

    3-1-38 Player Wickets refers to the number of wickets taken by a player in a specific innings.

    3-1-39 Combined Batsman Runs refer to the total number of runs scored Batsmen

    3-1-40 Combo Milestones refers to both the batsmen will reach their specified milestones or not.

    3-1-41 Named Player Player Performance refers to the number of runs scored by the named player in the player performance scoring system.

    3-1-42 Virtual Cricket markets will follow the rules for Cricket. An over must be completed, or the innings ended, for bets to be considered valid.

    3-1-43 Runs in Over markets – If penalty runs result in the innings or match ending before a ball is bowled in the over, bets on that over will be void.

    3-1-44 Over Odd/Even markets – If penalty runs result in the innings or match ending before a ball is bowled in the over, bets on that over will be void.

    3-1-45 Both Teams to Score x Runs – In limited overs matches, each inning will be considered complete if at least 80% of the scheduled overs at the time of the bet placement have been bowled. If external factors, such as adverse weather conditions, prevent the completion of at least 80% of the scheduled overs, the bets in this market will be deemed void. For example, if a match is interrupted by rain after 16 overs with the score at 170, a bet on “both teams to score 160” will be settled as ‘no,’ while a bet on “both teams to score 180” will be considered void.

    3-2 Soccer

    3-2-1 All markets (except halftime, first half markets, overtime and penalty shootout) are considered for regular time only unless otherwise stated.

    3-2-2 If a match is interrupted and continued within 48h after initial kickoff, all open bets will be settled with the final result. Otherwise all undecided bets are considered void.

    3-2-3 Own goals will not be considered for Next Goalscorer , Anytime Goalscorer or Player to score X or more settlement purposes and are ignored.

    3-2-5 If the market was opened with a missing or incorrect red card, we reserve the right to void betting.

    3-2-16 Booking markets Yellow Card = 1 & Red Card = 2. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, the player receives a total of 3 cards.     • If a player was not in the starting lineup the bet will be voided.
    • Assists: A final contribution (pass, shot or any other touch of the ball) made by a player leading to the receiving teammate scoring a goal.
    • Goals: The number of goals scored by a player in the opposition net. markets are settled based on the time the ball crosses the line, and not the time the kick is made.
    • Shots: Any clear attempt by a player to score a goal (on target, off target or blocked).
    • Shots on Goal / Shots on Target: An attempt by a player which directly results in a goal (regardless of clear intent to score a goal), or a clear attempt by a player to score a goal that clearly would have gone into the net if not for a goalkeeper save or a stop made by the last-man (with the goalkeeper clearly unable to save).
    • Passes: Attempted pass (successful or unsuccessful) with the clear intention of one player to find a teammate.
    • Tackles: When a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge, successfully taking the ball away from the player in possession.
    • Cards: Player carded: 0 = No, 1 = Yes(not the total number of cards received).

    3-3 Tennis

    3-3-1 In case of default, retirement or walkover of any player, all undecided bets are considered void.

    3-3-2 In case of any delay (rain, darkness…) all markets remain unsettled and the trading will be continued as soon as the match continues.

    3-3-3 If penalty point(s) are awarded by the umpire, all bets on that game will stand.

    3-3-4 In case of a match is finished before certain points/games were finished, all affected point/game related markets are considered void.
